“These water pipe and road projects in the West Bank are no longer making progress without the USAID" https://t.co/WRzBnMOHxI
Videoda söylenenler
This is one of the problems that USAID was meant to fix. This is a water pipe that burst this morning in the West Bank city of Halhul. The water engineers came here and tried to fix it. But they had been working on a project funded by USAID, $46 million in this area to rehabilitate the water pipes that burst every couple of days. When President Trump and his administration froze USAID projects all around the world, it impacted this area of the West Bank. Wherever you drive in Palestinian cities, you see billboards marking USAID road and water projects from over the years. It's been a decades-long U.S. mission to build the capacity for the Palestinians to have their own independent state.
