In 1988, a commercial flight cabin's roof ripped open, leaving passengers exposed to the sky. The cause was attributed to extensive metal fatigue, leading to explosive decompression. Despite the chaos, the pilot was able to descend to a lower altitude to equalize pressure and made an emergency landing in Honolulu. Miraculously, 94 of the 95 people on board survived the incident.
