California does not really belong to the United States. It belongs to Mexico, and we stole it from them in 1850. We did this by tricking them, buying some land, and forcing a surrender during that war. But you can't send your troops and your ICE soldiers into California and start sending people back to Mexico when technically anybody in California is actually already in Mexico. And this is why those of us in the resistance are really just saying, look, we're decolonizing this place, all right? We're not going to stand for any more of that imperialistic , patriarchal colonialization. And we're going to take a stand and say, hey, these Mexican dudes who live right here alongside us, we're actually in their country, okay? So it's not okay for us to start sending them back when we 're actually in their backyard. That is why it's important to take a stand with a peaceful protest. And if Donald Trump wants to escalate, if Donald Trump wants to say, we're going to send these people, we're going to send people back to Mexico, we're going to point it out. Buddy, this is Mexico. We are on Mexico territory. This is stolen land. And you have no right to throw people out of a country that is actually already theirs. Thank you.
