The image is a photo of a sign that says "Gaziantep Gazi Olur Şehit Olur Asla Teslim Olmaz" which translates to "Gaziantep becomes a veteran, becomes a martyr, never surrenders". The joke in this is that, in Turkish, the words "veteran" and "martyr" are very close in meaning. The sign is making a play on words, implying that Gaziantep is a place that is always ready to fight and never gives up. The sign is likely a political statement, as it emphasizes the importance of resistance and sacrifice. It could also be a humorous way of expressing local pride in Gaziantep.
