A truck driver’s bedtime routine

This is my nighttime routine as a truck driver. When I go to sleep, I always make sure to do the seatbelt trick. Now, I only recommend you doing the seatbelt trick if you have an emergency exit door in the back of your sleeper. Yes, my doors do lock. It's just an extra layer of protection, in my opinion. I don't know if you guys know this, but there is some semi- truck keys that will open any kind of semi-truck. I usually shut the curtains so that way no one can see in here, but tonight I was feeling a little lazy, so I skipped that step. Since I don't have an APU, I sometimes let the truck idle because then it will get either too hot or too cold in here Then I go into the sleeper and brush my teeth. This little thing right here that I bought comes in clutch so much. You're supposed to change your toothbrushes every so often. I would do it literally every other day because they would always just get super dirty. Then once I'm done brushing my teeth, I close the sleeper curtains so that way no one's watching me sleep at night. I like opening this little window right here. That way there's always pressure circulating. And that's the little exit door I was talking about. The best part and the part I look forward to every day, laying in bed. Remember the first time I slept on the road, I could not get myself to sleep. Now, I sleep like a baby every night.
