Every year you need for a stay-at-home mom and a child. But if he's spending 30k a year on both you and your daughter, how much more would he need to make to live comfortably? That's comfortable. So a family of three could survive off of just 40k a year? Yeah. It's is not going to be a lavish lifestyle, but this economy sucks. You just make it work.
