India secretly holds the ability to tackle China. Here's how. China's main weakness is the Strait of Malacca, because 70% of Chinese oil imports flow through this narrow passage, and India owns the entrance to the strait via the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. These islands provide a gate to the Andaman Sea, which can easily be controlled by the Indian Navy. On top of that, India will most likely align with the U.S. if they had any conflict with China, which would effectively cut off half of China's oil and cripple them. Some experts had proposed that a way to get around this would be the Krah Canal through Thailand. But the problem with that is, it still would not be able to bypass these islands, leaving China to search for other options.
