Happy World Press Freedom Day! There are 250 journalists in prison in the World according to the Committee to Protect Journalists. Number 1 is China with 48 and number 2 is Turkey with 47 journalists in prison. (China has 17 times our population) According to Özgür Gazeteciler İnisiyatifi there are 130 journalists and workers of press imprisoned. According to Türkiye Gazeteciler Sendikası there are 108 journalists imprisoned. What’s really ironic is that when we tried to access the Stockholm Center for Freedom’s article about the prosecutions of Turkish journalist, the access to that website was banned as well. Hope we will have happier World Press Freedom Days in the future. #haftasonu #basın #basınözgürlüğü #atatürk #ataturk #atatürksözleri #worldpressfreedomday #evdekal #evindekaltürkiye #koronavirüsü #learnturkish #ingilizce #alıntı #alıntılar #ingilizceöğreniyorum #ingilizceogreniyorum #ingilizceöğren #ingilizceogren
