why I would never eat a donut at Dunkin' Donuts. So we're here in Boston, and this is the classic donut to order at Dunkin' Donuts, the Boston Cream Donut. I mean, I can see why people love this. It does smell good, and I'm sure it's really tasty for that two minutes of enjoyment. But what you don't realize, it has 65 ingredients in it, 20 grams of sugar, 13 grams of fat. One of those ingredients, titanium dioxide, which is a whitening and brightening agent found in cosmetics, but also in your Dunkin' Donut. This was banned in Europe by the European Food Safety Authority because of the hundreds of scientific studies showing the harmful effects of its being a genotoxin. This means that it has the ability to damage DNA that leads to cancer. So save the titanium dioxide for your face and save the donut for the trash.
