We see news about billions of $s disappearing from public funds and we see many people committing suicide due to poverty. We see depression due to financial ruin, yet we keep seeing billionaires on the news and look at them with awe. We are playing a game of life that’s not fair and we really need to work towards a more fair distribution of wealth. The world’s richest 10 people could each give $33 billion and they would still have more than $823 billion among themselves. Don’t you think that’s crazy? TD @emilyisliving we need fair distribution of wealth COVID pandemic has shown that most of us are only one bad year - one medical issue, unemployment - away from complete financial ruin. And absolutely none of us is one good year away from being a billionaire. It’s not worth it to have homelessness, starvation and dying from curable diseases in the world so that a few people can enjoy their 50th mansion and 12th private jet. We need to have more realistic expectations and work for a more fair distribution of wealth. TD @emilyisliving
